Earsay had a great Wetwheels trip to Guernsey on Saturday 5th September. The weather was kind, and the crossing good fun. All the children had a go at driving the boat and really enjoyed themselves. We had a few hours in Guernsey to explore St Peter Port, and took a bus trip to Fermain Bay for lunch in the beachside cafe which was nice.
On the return trip Andy from Wetwheels (who was our fantastic skipper) took us on the scenic route passing 2 cruise ships anchored just off Guernsey and past all the other Channel Islands, including the Barclays castle on Brecqou - it was the first time for many of us to see the other Islands up close and so a really great experience.
A big thank you for Wetwheels & Andy Le Seelleur for letting Earsay have a great day out.
