What a brilliant day we all had at the Earsay Summer party on Saturday 6th July. The weather was truly stunning - the hottest day of the year so far and perfect for spending outdoors.
There was great live music from Alfie Butel and the Alfresco Bandits, keeping a chilled vibe to the afternoon. Thank you very much to them for joining us.
The BBQ was well manned and there was lots of lovely food and salads for everyone - thanks to all who helped cook and serve the food and drinks.
The kids were kept very busy in the bouncy castle and body zorbs, and there were some fun matches of chicken sumo wrestling - I think Paul rather enjoyed it! The bungee trampoline was a real hit and I know some of the children kept going back for more, some 5 or 6 times - even after a full BBQ! There was also a very long game of 'pass the rugby ball' which kept people amused for ages.
Jepson bear from the JEP also paid us a visit - so look out for the pictures in the coming weeks.
It was great to see so many Earsay members & families having fun. A big thank you to everyone who came, all the committee who helped organise and pack away, all the young helpers from the youth club and especially to Scott for all his hard work (you know we'll be hoping for the same next year now!!)
