Date // Sunday 29 Sept, 10.30-12am
Venue // Sprouts Farm, St Martin
This event is a visit to Sprouts Farm on Sunday 29th September, 10.30 am – 12 noon.
We are visiting the Sprouts Farm School, which is a lovely local initiative aiming to encourage children to find out about growing produce themselves, choosing healthier options and learn about where our food comes from. It’s a fun morning meeting the pigs & chickens on the farm too!
Decorate a plant pot and pot up it up to take home.
Meet the pigs, hear silly stories about them and feed them.
Feed and cuddle the chickens.
Sit on the tractor for photos.
We do have access to their picnic area 12-1pm afterwards, where you can stay on & enjoy your own picnic if you would like to bring one.
The event is probably aimed at younger children, but any age should enjoy exploring the farm & getting stuck in! Children under 6 need to be accompanied, but all adults are encouraged to stay & join in.
The farm is in Rue des Vallee, St Martin, behind Royal pub – see map on Contacts on their website as I believe it may be tricky to get to. https://www.thefarmschoolinitiative.com
Spaces are limited, so please advise if you would like to attend, to Kerri on email [email protected] or by mobile call or text 07797 751469. Please let us know ASAP so we can get an idea of numbers, but by Tuesday 24th Sept at the latest.
Look forward to a fun time down the farm!
