Sailing legend Geoff Holt MBE, Patron of the Le Tournoi Sailing Challenge is to visit Jersey over the May Bank Holiday when he will bring his specially designed Cheetah catamaran, Wetwheels, to the Boat Show.
Geoff is an ex-professional yachtsman with many ocean crossings under his belt, Geoff Holt was paralysed in a swimming accident in 1984 and despite this has gone on to achieve many firsts as a yachtsman.
As overall winners of last year's Le Tournoi Sailing Challenge the Earsay crew had the chance to meet Geoff, prior to the start of the Sailing Challenge, and would love and encourage as many Earsay friends and families to attend this event.
This relaxed evening, held in the Liberty Wharf Courtyard outside Costa Coffee, starts at 5:30pm and will cost £10 each to include a Goan curry and a glass of wine.
Geoff is also pleased to announce that he would like to invite a group of ten Earsay friends onto his boat for a trip to the Miniquiers on either the Saturday 5th May or Sunday 6th May.
