Date // Tue 4 & Wed 5 June
Venue // Le Rocquier School & St Mary address
As part of Le Rocquier School's deaf awareness week in June, there are two opportunities for Earsay parents to meet with the NDCS UK team if they have questions to ask, or would feel it beneficial to meet them. This is for parents of deaf/HoH children of any age, babies/primary/secondary/older.
The team includes a family liaison officer whose specific role it is to advise parents of a deaf child with any issues or problems so it’s a good opportunity for some in depth knowledge on any issues.
1) DAYTIME - Parent/Carer Drop in session at Le Rocquier School Wednesday 5th June from 2pm. No need to book, just check into the School reception.
2) EVENING – Earsay requested a social evening with NDCS and Le Rocquier ARC staff/teacher of the deaf/audiology staff, and we are all meeting on Tuesday 4th June from 6pm at Esther Tremeer’s house in St Mary. This is for parents, so not a family event on this occasion. There will be lots of nibbles on offer and it will be a relaxed chance to meet everyone. Please email [email protected] if you can drop into this for the address.
We really hope many of you can take advantage of this great opportunity.
