Deaf Film Screening

Le Rocquier school are holding their own Deaf Awareness week and on Wednesday 5th June they are inviting all the deaf community (adluts and older children) to a free screening of The British Deaf Associations' documentary, The Power in Our Hands, the untold story of the deaf community's fight to be heard. The film is 70 minutes long, Cert PG, subtitled and signed.

There are refreshments from 6.15 and the film is at 6.30pm. The NDCS (National Deaf Children's Society) will be there, as well as local professionals involved with the deaf community, and it will be a nice opportunity to watch an interesting film and socialise with others.
