Date // Sat 3rd March, 6.30pm
Venue // Patrick Moore Astronomy Club, Les Creux, SB
We have an exciting new event coming up very soon – a visit to the Jersey Astronomy Club on Saturday 3rd March at 6.30-7.30pm.
We will be able to learn all about the night sky and view the moon & stars in the dome, weather permitting. There will be experts on hand to help the children and it promises to be a fun event! Pat Bougeard will be there to help with signing too.
This event is limited to 30 people and suits all ages. We expect a high demand for this first time visit to the Astronomy Club so we would appreciate only one adult per family group of children ideally, to make sure as many children as possible get a chance to enjoy it. Please reply to Kerri Correia ASAP on [email protected] or mobile 07797 751469 to advise numbers. First come first served.
The meeting place is Sir Patrick Moore Astronomy Centre at Les Creux Country Park in St Brelades, through the big pillars at the end of Route Orange. Please see Map link if required.
Please meet by 6.20pm & there is plenty of parking. Please also bring a torch if possible and wrap up warm.
