Le Tournoi crews enjoy BSL lunchtime class

Events , Inspiration , News // Monday 3 Oct 2011

On Tuesday 27th September, after returning to Jersey from Guernsey, the five Le Tournoi yacht crews joined Earsay to enjoy an hour of British Sign Language training very kindly provided by Earsay crew member and friend Robert Le Masurier.

The crews met up close to Costa Coffee in an area very kindly donated by Liberty Wharf - for which a special thanks go to Simon Gale and his Liberty Wharf management team.

The crews learned their BSL alphabet, greetings and "my name is..." which all came in very useful at the following evening's awards dinner at the Radisson.

Every crew member was also issued with a Clear Communications Pack.
